About Me
My name is Amanda Millette owner and photographer of Bristol Noelle Photography in Lafayette, Louisiana. Last year in August, my friend brought me to the beautiful Sunflowers for St. Jude’s field in Kaplan, Louisiana. Before then, I never knew the field existed. For the last 9 years, the Romaine family has planted this sunflower field. They request a $1 donation per flower with 100% of the proceeds going to St. Jude’s.
I want to tell you a little about me and my involvement with St. Jude’s. Since 2016, I have run the Avery Island Jungle Gardens 5k. In 2017, I had the privilege of visiting St. Jude’s in Memphis, Tennessee, on a tour of the city. In 2021, I began running the annual Dasher, Dancer, Prancer 5k run in Carencro. This year for the first time, I ran the Zydeco 5k in downtown Lafayette. All three of these races are in honor of St. Jude’s. To my surprise, St Jude’s sent me a beautiful medal commemorating my completion of all three races. I was not expecting to receive one, but it is my most treasured medal. I plan to complete all three races again this year and for years to come. No, I have not lost a child or have personally known a child who has battled or lost their fight with cancer, but St. Jude’s purpose is dear to my heart and the work they do to prevent others from the heart ache of childhood cancer. As a mother, my heart breaks for any child affected by cancer and I hope in some way this fundraiser can make a difference.
About the Fundraiser
Join me for a 20-minute photo session in the sunflowers. Bring your significant other, the kids, the whole fam, or just yourself! You will receive 10-edited digital photos. $25 to reserve your spot/ $50 at your session time. Retainers will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and are strictly non-refundable. Why? Because life happens, but good deeds should too! I am committed to getting you beautiful images and supporting a great cause in the process!

I believe in accountability. Proof of the total donation will be posted publicly on my blog and/or Facebook page once the sessions conclude.
